Must Visit Neighborhood in Denver: RiNo Art District
Every space has a word.
And if Colorado’s word is adventure, the RiNo area of Denver’s word is create.
From beautiful art murals and galleries to unique breweries and coffee shops, exploring RiNo feels like exploring your own creative self.
RiNo is my favorite neighborhood in Denver. It has some of the best restaurants, fun spots, and the artsy scene.
Here are some can’t miss spots when checking out this gem.
Where to stay?
Denver Vib is walking distance to everything great in RiNo.
Vib Denver is also located between the Airport and Union Station and is a 5-minute walk to Denver’s light rail train to take you into and around the city.
Where to eat?
Food halls like Zeppelin Station, Denver Central Market, and Denver Milk Market are full of great choices for food. They allow you to check out a few different restaurants. You can grab a bite a one place, a drink at another, and dessert at a different restaurant.
Where to see Art?
The street murals were my favorite. That’s why it’s smart to get a hotel close by and walk around to immerse yourself in the art. I would spend at least 2 hours checking out the murals. It’s smart to walk in RiNo. I would skip the Ubers and walk to your desired destinations to really immerse yourself in the murals all over the neighborhood.
They also have some cool galleries like Foolproof Art Gallery and The Waiting Room.
What to do?
Forney Museum and Mission Ballroom are fun places to hang out.
The Forney Museum of Transportation had a one-of-a-kind collection of more than 600 artifacts relating to historical transportation. It has an industrial feel and is a perfect place to visit for car or train lovers.
The Mission Ballroom has shows and concerts so check out their schedule for the time you’re planning to visit RiNo
