My Stay At Loews Miami Beach Hotel
I recently went on a Momcation and had the time of my life.
I love adventuring with my kids. But it’s also nice to get away and enjoy time to relax and reset.
So I went away for the weekend to Miami to enjoy the ocean and the sun.
I stayed at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Its amenities and location made it the perfect getaway.
I was looking for a hotel that provided everything I needed like food, beach access, and close proximity to activities so I wouldn’t have to do very much. As a mom of four, wife, and entrepreneur, I’m always doing so much. I wanted this vacation to be low stress and low pressure. The Loews more than provided a great experience.
An unexpected surprise while staying at the Loews was the free photography session that any guest can book with Focal Point. I’m not sure how much more stress free you can get! There’s even someone there to take your photos. The photographer at Focal Point was amazing at learning what I was looking for and choosing areas of the hotel that were perfect for photos. Here’s one of my favorite photos from the session.
I loved that there was an easy and stress free way to have these memories to remind myself that solo travel is self care.
After the session, they sent me all of the photos and the packages and pricing. While the session is free, you do have to pay for any prints or digital photos you order. The more photos you purchase, the bigger the discount.
These photos are beautiful and IG worthy.
The ocean view room
When you visit Loews, an ocean front room is a must. The view is so amazing. The photo right above is the view from my room!
Waking up to this every morning was instant relaxation. In the evenings, I left the balcony door open so I could hear the ocean. Living in Colorado, I have beautiful access to the mountains, which I love. But I do miss the ocean. So I wanted to soak it all in.
I had my morning tea on the balcony and even did some yoga to wake up for the day.
The view was everything.
Here is the view in the evening.
Which view do you like better, morning or evening? I couldn’t get enough of both of them!
Convenient beach access
When I started planning this getaway, close access to a beach was super important to me. Actually, it was number 1 on my list!
I just finished all of the family Christmas activities and I was exhausted. Let’s be honest, there’s no Santa, there’s mom! And moms make all the magic happen. Also, I was tired of the winter cold in Colorado and ready for a sunny break.
The beach is a quick 3-5 minute walk from the pool area of the hotel. And they even provide beach towels. So you don’t really need to bring anything but a swimsuit and a book. This is the level of pampering I was looking for. I do so much of the planning and organizing for my family of 6 that it was nice to just have the things I needed provided for me.
I spent a beautiful Saturday morning at the pool. I had a rented daybed, which is slightly away from the crowd so it’s perfect for relaxing. I loved that I didn’t have to worry about finding a free chair.
They also had live music and passed out free juices with coconut and aloe in it!
I ordered lunch while I was there. I had the lobster roll, French fries, and a cocktail. Surrounded by palm trees, live music, and good vibes, the pool area is divine. I highly recommend spending time here.
After a couple of hours, I was ready for the ocean! I took the quick walk over to the beach and relaxed some more.
The Perfect location
I did not want to drive at all while I was on my Momcation. So having a pool and beach access within walking distance was heavenly!
The hotel is also convenient to restaurants, shopping, and south beach. I walked and biked the whole time I was there. It was great not having to worry about how to get around or where to park.
I enjoyed evening strolls down Ocean Drive and bike rides near the beach.
So many restaurants
You don’t actually need to leave the hotel if you don’t want to.
There are 3 restaurants, 1 coffee shop, and a poolside grill. And of course they have room service too! They have all of your meals covered if you’re truly looking for a stress free, think free experience.
They even have an amazing spa and fitness center on site too.
I went to the Preston’s Market for breakfast and enjoyed mimosas and the breakfast buffet.
I loved the fresh juice and all of the different food options. The french toast and fresh berries were delicious. Check out my plate.
For dinner, I ate at Bar Collins and had the best Branzino I’ve ever had! You also must try the roasted beet and walnut dip. Trust me, your mouth will be very happy. They even had vegan ice cream that I still think about from time to time. My heart and stomach were full.
I feel so recharged after this Momcation, it’s time to start planning the next one!
